Congratulations to social studies teacher Khaled Noori on being recognized as the February 2019 FCPS Cares Recipient of the Month for Region 3 by the Department of Human Resources. Congratulations, Mr. Noori!

Below is the write up submitted by Mr. Stephen Fitzgerald, a colleague of Mr. Noori. 

In Mr. Noori’s first year at Twain, he has taken on many challenges and immersed himself into this community. If there is an evening event, Mr. Noori can be seen sitting among the parents and students eager to support his students and our programs. Mr. Noori actually began coming to Twain events in the spring of last year, before he was on contract! He currently holds the record for most sweets eaten at our Broadway Desserts event. Mr. Noori has also helped begin Avengers Unite, an after-school program for his interdisciplinary team. Mr. Noori leads fun simulations in the classroom and has forged really solid relationships among his colleagues and caseload of students. Mr. Noori has also taken it upon himself to volunteer to help coach the boys' team for the Kingstowne Cup. He and a colleague have been working hard to help our boys be role model student-athletes.
