Hello families, 

Please join us for our annual Mark Twain Middle School Tiger Fest on Wednesday, August 14^th.  Please see schedule below for times.

This will be an opportunity for students and parents to pick up class schedules, obtain locker combinations, practice opening lockers, join the PTA, visit the clinic to drop off medication, buy Twain spirit wear, meet some teachers, and ask any questions prior to the start of school.

ACTION ITEMS: Forms to be turned in at the start the school year are:

• Emergency Care Card: This will be mailed home or a link will be available to fill out before Tiger Fest
• Health Information Form: This will be mailed home or a link will be available to fill out before Tiger Fest
• Science Safety Contract: This will be mailed home or a link will be available to fill out before Tiger Fest
• After School Program Registration: A link will be available to fill out before Tiger Fest
• Electronic Device Policy: A link will be available to fill out before Tiger Fest
• SOL Retake Form: A link will be available to fill out before Tiger Fest
• Digital Consent Form: Please review the digital resources used at the middle school level on the FCPS website that require parent/guardian consent.  Twain does not use all of them, however they will be available as an instructional tool for teachers when needed. After reviewing, please use this site (link coming) to communicate your consent.

Tiger Fest Schedule: You are invited to attend according to the following schedule:

3:00-4:45 pm:   Students with Last Name A-K

5:15-7:00 pm:   Students with Last Name L-Z

Don’t panic! Feel free to stop by Mark Twain’s main office between 9am-1pm on Thursday, August 15^th or Friday, August 16^th.  

Can’t make either of these dates? Still, don’t panic! Forms will be collected throughout the first week of school.
